KTD Creative designed a comprehensive report for the National Commission on Energy Policy, titled “Allocating Alliances in a Greenhouse Gas Trading System.” This report, rooted in the bipartisan recommendations released by the NCEP in December 2004, addresses the critical need for a mandatory, economy-wide program of tradable permits or allowances to limit greenhouse gas emissions. Following these recommendations, the U.S. Senate, in June 2005, passed a resolution advocating for a national program of market-based limits and incentives on emissions that would not harm the economy and would promote similar actions by other major contributors globally.
The report’s design, featuring a refined navy, blue, and green color palette, visually reflects the balance between economic stability, environmental progress, and global collaboration. It effectively communicates the urgency of climate action while maintaining a professional and polished aesthetic that aligns with the gravity of the issue.
