The General Board of Church and Society is a general agency of the United Methodist Church. It is one of four international general program boards of The United Methodist Church as set out by the UMC Book of Discipline.

While the United Methodist Church shares foundational beliefs about God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the Bible with many other denominations, it also embraces a distinct heritage. This includes a strong focus on grace, a commitment to serving communities across the globe, and a dedication to nurturing personal growth as followers of Jesus Christ.
