Featuring outstanding African dance companies from the DC metropolitan area, a master class series and African marketplace, this festival is guaranteed to inspire, invigorate, educate and entertain.
Every year Dance Africa event comes to Dance Place and KTD Creative designs the advertising. Founded in 1980, Dance Place builds a community of artists, audiences, and students through high quality performances, commissions, training and educational programs.
Dance Place hosts the festival celebrating the dance and music of the African Diaspora. Featuring outstanding African dance companies from the DC metropolitan area, a master class series and African Marketplace, the festival was meant to inspire, invigorate, educate and entertain.
KTD Creative created a design effort to reflect this rich event. We designed numerous large-scale Metro ads placed on various buses and in the DC-subway system, numerous color and black and white print ads for various print media, signage, t-shirts and all related merchandise to promote the event which was a huge success.
