KTD Creative created the brand for an upscale diner called the Shaw Shank Diner in the Shaw area of Washington, DC. The result was a logo that reflected an upscale diner with hints of Austin, organic food, and a warm, neighborhood vibe based in the Shaw neighborhood.
As part of the branding, illustrations were created by the very talented Donald Ely. Menus, business cards are more were designed to launch this eatery including a range of merchandise, featuring T-shirts, hats, and tote bags, allowing customers to take a piece of Shaw Shank Diner home with them. These products captured the diner’s charm, offering a fun way for fans to represent the neighborhood and the iconic dining experience.
